EchoTag – Smart Labeling System was designed for this competition.
EchoTag is a kit of smart stick-on tags (categorised for items such as food and medicine) that combine Braille and RFID technology. Visually impaired users can read the tags by touch or scan them with a wristband to hear audio information, making everyday item identification simpler and more independent.
